Barry Weiss, born on 11 February 1951 is an American music executive. He was born in Demarest, New Jersey, United States. He completed his graduation from Cornell University. He was the chairman and CEO of The Island Def Jam Music Group and Universal Republic records from 2011 to 2014. He has also served for RCA/Jive Label Group from 2008 to 2011, he is known to have worked as a CEO for Jive Records from 1991 to 2011.
