American anchor and broadcast journalist, Candy Alt Crowley is currently the chief political correspondent for CNN. Besides this, she is known for being the anchor of her own show, State of the Union with Candy Crowley. Born as Candy Alt Crowley in Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States of America to Richard C. Alt and Jr., Nadine Leonard, Candy was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Regarding her ethnicity and nationality, Crowley is a white American corrospondant for CNN.
Candy was once married in her life, she married a TV producer at the age of 22, however, the name of her husband is not known. The couple was together for about six years. Crowley mothered two children with her producer husband who already had a daughter from his previous wedding. Her adopted daughter is already a Mom. Her eldest son Webster is a neurosurgeon, and her youngest son Jonathan works for a musical band Vinyette. The six years long marriage finally came to an end after her ex-husband was found to be cheating on her.
Candy is the graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman's College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She then joined WASH-FM and began working as a newsroom assistant.
