Christian Pulisic Biography
Christian Mate Pulisic is a well-known soccer player, who is popular as an attacking midfielder or winger. He played for Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga and for the United States national team. He is the youngest player to represent the senior national team in a FIFA World Cup qualifier. He joined the Borussia Dortmund academy, where he played just 15 games and rise up before being brought into the first team during the 2015–16 winter break.
Christian was born on September 18, 1998, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the United States to father Mark and mother Kelley Pulisic. He grew up in his birthplace along with his siblings. His father and mother, both played collegiate soccer at George Mason University. In the 1990s, his father also played professional indoor soccer for the Harrisburg Heat and later he served as a coach for both youth and professional levels.
While Christain was seven years old he went to England for a year playing for the youth team of Brackley Town. During childhood, Pulisic also played for local U.S. Soccer Development Academy club PA Classics. Later he signed a contract with Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga in February 2015.
Christain played his first game for Borussia Dortmund club in a 2–0 win against FC Ingolstadt. After that, he made his UEFA Europa League debut in a 2–0 victory against FC Porto. He scored his first goal for the club against Hamburger SV and became the youngest non-German and fourth-youngest player to score a goal in the Bundesliga. Christain is also one of the youngest players to ever score two goals in the Bundesliga.
After a year, Christian made a new deal with Dortmund until 2020. He has also played for the United States at the U-15 and U-17 levels. He has also served as a captain of the national team at the 2015 U17 World Cup in Chile. The others national football players were, Dexter Manley and Danny Kanell.
He made his first international goal against Bolivia and became the youngest player in the modern era to score a goal for the United States at 17 years 253 days old. Christain is also the youngest American player to score a goal in World Cup qualifying history.
