Fairuza Balk is an American film actress born on 21st May 1974 in Point Reyes, California. She grew up in San Francisco on commune type of ranch. Her mother “Cathryn Balk” is a belly dancer and her father “Solomon Feldthouse” is a musician. Her parents went through a divorce when Fairuza was only three months old. Fairuza holds American Nationality and belongs to Caucasian Ethnicity.
Balk debut in a television film “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” broadcast in 1983. She got a chance in Walt Disney Production’s “Return to OZ” and “The Wizard of Oz”. Her excellence performance in her previous movies won her the role in another Hollywood project “The Worst Witch” and she was again featured in critically acclaimed and globally appreciated movie “Gas Food Lodging”. Fairuza appeared in “The Craft” in the leading role. The actress is also remembered for playing an intense roles in movies like “The Island of Dr. Moreau” and American History X.
