Primetime Emmy Awards winner, Jerry Lewis is one of the oldest American comedian, actor and singer. He is also an established recording artist, film producer, screenwriter and film director. He is known for his role in the movies like The Delicate Delinquent, The Bellboy and The Nutty Professor. Jerry Lewis was born in the musical family as Joseph Levitch in Newark, New Jersey, United States to Daniel Levitch and Rachel ("Rae") Levitch (née Brodsky). He is an American and is of Russian Jewish descent.
On 3rd of October 1944, Jerry got married to Patti Lewis. Patti Lewis is a singer and they met for the first time in Detroit two months earlier before getting married. As a married couple, they six children together and they finalized their divorce on 27th of January 1983.
It seems like the actual reason that dissolved his first married life was his extra affairs with SanDee Pitnick. SanDee Pitnick is also an actress and they got married on 13th of February 1983.
As both of his parents were involved in the entertainment industry, Jerry also got a chance to appear on the radio when he was just five. And then at the age of 15, he developed his Record Act. Then he teamed up with Dean Martin as a comedy team. They began performing in the nightclub and they also gained fame for that performance. They also ran their own radio program and quickly rose to prominence. Those days, he earned the salary of $150–175 per week. He began his acting career since 1949 and his debut movie role was in My Friend Irma. His net worth is said to be around $50 million.
