Linda Yu Biography
Linda Yu, veteran broadcaster, was born on December 1, 1946, in China. She is first Asian- American Journalist best known as an anchor on the Eyewitness newscast for WLS-TV in Chicago. She is Chinese by nationality and belongs to Asian ethnicity. She spent her childhood in the diverse culture of China, Hong Kong, and different states of U.S.A. She completed her graduation with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California.
This hard working lady worked as a writer and producer in Los Angels and also served as a general assignment reporter and back–up anchor in San Francisco. Before working as a news anchor for WLS-TV in Chicago she worked as co-anchor on different other news channels. She left a good impression on her co-workers and seniors everywhere she worked.
She is married to Dr. Richard Baer, a psychiatrist. She started dating with her boyfriend, Richard, from the early days of college life and finally became a life partner. After spending fourteen years of happy married life with two children the couple divorced because of their misunderstandings.
