Michael Smith Biography
Michael Smith is one of Canada’s well-known chef born on 13th October 1966 in New York, USA. He grew up with his parents Margaret and Ralph along with his siblings in New York City. He was Undergraduate at Rochester Institute of Technology and obtained his degree from Culinary Institute of America. He holds American Nationality and belongs to white ethnicity.
Michael commercial gained his first experience in his own hometown Inverness as part time KP when he was 15 years old. His experience made him keener to pursue a career as a Chef and initially he start working under Chef Matthew Burns at the brigade of Arisaig House in 1988. After learning skills, Chef Move towards London and Scotland where he spends several years working with the different chef and restaurant and participates in different tours.
Michael also became the Scotland’s Foods Ambassador during Tartan week in New York and Toronto. Besides cooking, Michael also represented his country on BBC’s Great British Menu for the 3rd time. He also writes different food recipe for the magazine and also features on BBC Radio. He had also won Award for Best National Television Cooking Show.
