An American rapper and also a Grammy-nominated persona, Victor Kwesi Mensah, popularly known by his stage name Vic Mensa was born on June 6, 1993, to father Edward Mensah and mother Betsy Mensah in Chicago, Illinois. His father who is an Economics professor originally comes from Ghana while her mother who works at a school in Chicago is a white American. Mensa who completed his schooling at Whitney Young Magnet High School was even in those days highly inclined towards music.
Vic Mensa is a popular rapper who is American by Nationality and belongs to the black ethnicity. He previously used to be an active member of a band named 'Kids These Days' which unfortunately split in 2013. He is currently signed by Roc Nation, an entertainment, and music company and is still working for it.
Following the break-up of his band, he released his solo mixtape named 'Innatape', which brought him into the limelight. In June 2014, his first single 'Down on My Luck' was released by Virgin EMI-a British record label owned by Universal Music Group- that proved to be a major success. Later in 2015, he appeared alongside Sia on Kanye West's single 'Wolves' following which Kanye was also seen featuring 'U Mad', Mensa's first single for his new label, Roc nation. His latest album 'There is a Lot Going On' released on June 3, 2016. He also received a nomination for Best Rap Song at 58th Grammy Awards for co-writing Kanye West's song 'All Day'.
Besides, he has also performed with Justin Bieber in his Purpose World Tour in Europe. He is an unmarried man, aged 23 years.
